Ingredients

  • 6 ounces strawberry jello gelatin
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 8 ounces cool whip thawed
  • 1 lb frozen strawberries sliced

Instructions

  • In a casserole or pan, whisk together the strawberry gelatin and hot water until completely dissolved. Stir in 3/4 cup cold water.
  • Refrigerate for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the gelatin is slightly thickened but not fully set.
  • Whisk the gelatin mixture until light and foamy. You can just use a hand whisk (that's what I do) or you can also use an electric mixer as well. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping, then fold in the frozen sliced strawberries.
  • Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate for 3–4 hours, or until fully set. Serve chilled.

Notes
