This Strawberry Jello Salad is a light, fluffy retro favorite made with strawberry gelatin, whipped topping, and sweet frozen strawberries. Easy, make-ahead, and perfect for holidays, potlucks, and family gatherings!
In a casserole or pan, whisk together the strawberry gelatin and hot water until completely dissolved. Stir in 3/4 cup cold water.
Refrigerate for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the gelatin is slightly thickened but not fully set.
Whisk the gelatin mixture until light and foamy. You can just use a hand whisk (that's what I do) or you can also use an electric mixer as well. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping, then fold in the frozen sliced strawberries.
Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate for 3–4 hours, or until fully set. Serve chilled.
Notes
