Yogurt Dill Dressing

This yogurt dill dressing is creamy, flavorful, and versatile, perfect for dressing salads, chicken, fish, or dipping fresh veggies. Made with simple ingredients and plenty of fresh dill, it’s ready in minutes!

Yogurt Dill Dressing

Oh, I could put this creamy dill dressing on just about ANYTHING! Obviously it’s my favorite as a salad dressing over simple greens like arugula with some walnuts or crumbled goat cheese but it’s good on almost anything from pitas and wraps to grilled chicken or fish!

You can certainly find dill dressings in the supermarket (I believe Bolthouse Farms makes a yogurt dill) but I firmly believe the extra 10-15 minutes it takes to make a homemade yogurt dill dressing is beyond worth it! The flavor is just 10/10 in my opinion.

Yogurt Dill Dressing

We all know that a salad is only as good as its dressing, right? A good salad dressing can make a salad absolutely out-of-this-world delicious. This yogurt dill dressing does just that! Use it on simple wedge salads, arugula salads, chopped salads… any type of salad! The fresh herb and lemon flavor is a match made in heaven.

Yogurt Dill Dressing Ingredient Notes

Here’s a list of ingredients you’ll need for this salad dressing – and find the full recipe card at the end of the post!

GREEK YOGURT: It gives the creamiest texture to this dressing – and a boost of protein! Win-Win!
FRESH DILL: Can’t have a yogurt dill salad dressing without lots of fresh dill! Load up as much as you like (I prefer around 3 tablespoons).
LEMON JUICE: Use fresh-squeezed if you have it!
EVOO: Any high-quality extra-virgin olive oil will do the trick!
GREEN ONION: You can substitute in a shallot or white onion (about 1 tablespoon).
SALT & PEPPER: I’d start with 1/4 teaspoon of each but add more or less to taste.

Tips for Making Yogurt Dill Dressing

  • I prefer a reduced fat Greek Yogurt but use whatever variety you prefer!
  • I suggest fresh dill in this recipe, it gives it the best flavor!
  • Add in a few other fresh herbs if you have them like chives, parsley or basil.
  • Store your yogurt dill dressing in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

I hope you love this dressing as much as I do! If you want to try another homemade dressing, dry my creamy apple cider dressing (so good).
